My name is Mariela and I first learned how to crochet when I was 9 years old. My grandmother taught me the basics: how to hold a crochet hook and do chain stitches. I was so obsessed that I worked on those chain stitches until I ran out of yarn, lol. Unfortunately, I left the hobby as I grew older and became “too busy”, which often happens with many of us.

I found myself picking up my creative hobbies again two years after getting my accounting degree. After receiving encouragement from my boyfriend, I realized it was something that was missing in my life. The joy and fulfillment I got from doing art again filled my heart with the deepest joy. Rediscovering my love for crochet led me to trying out other hobbies as well, such as knitting and painting.
